STANDARD - Safe Drain® Product
standard Safe Drain® basin is constructed of 304 stainless steel and can be outfitted with the appropriate type and size of chemically compatible valves. When a filter is included it is specific to the primary pollutant seen by that storm drain, e.g. hydrocarbons, etc.

HEAVY DUTY - Safe Drain® Product
Designed for larger storm drains, the Heavy Duty Safe Drain® is constructed of heavier gauge steel and more rigorous welding techniques are applied. Functionally it is the same as the Standard Safe Drain.

CURBSIDE - Safe Drain® Product
Curbside Safe Drain® is functionally the same as the Standard Safe Drain, is often of a more custom design given the wide variety of curbside storm drain configurations.

Spill Containment
When closed the Safe Drain® stops and holds discharges, preventing them from entering the storm water drainage inlet in which it is installed, and allowing the discharged materials to be easily reclaimed for disposal or recycling.

Sediment/Erosion & Trash Control
Opened or closed, the Safe Drain® can remove much of the sediment or trash found in runoff through a natural filtering action. It can also be fitted with a filter to further improve the amount of material it removes from run-off.

Construction Site Runoff & Flow Control
The Safe Drain® can be used to regulate the volume of water flowing into a Storm Drain, allowing more time for sediments to settle out while preventing flooding.

Hydrocarbon Capture & Removal
Fitted with a hydrocarbon filter the Safe Drain® can remove oil and grease from runoff while allowing large volumes of water to flow without back-ups. 

Illicit Discharge Identification & Elimination
With the ability to stop illicit discharges at or near their source the Safe Drain® can be used to identify where discharges are coming from and help put a stop to any further such discharges.
 

Accurate Pollution Abatement Analysis
By collecting and holding sediments and chemical discharges the Safe Drain® provides a means of gathering data on the amount and types of pollutants found in an area.
